but I smell sarcasm in your comment, Soda. I don't know why....
Anyone who takes this article seriously is really grasping at straws here. The hate for Halo is hilarious on this site. Really, wait for real news from someone who has an idea of what they're talking about. If this were a review about GT5 or God of War III, you PS3 kids would be crapping yourselves. Get out of an article for a game you'll never play and grow up.
Activision has all the right paperwork, then there's nothing to complain about. Otherwise, it's just more hyper sensitive people crying about something insignificant.
I was looking for that. I'm glad my first instinct was right. I knew this seemed like flame bait trash just to get hits.
is just as bad on the opposite side and he has 2 bubbles. I'm beginning to think this is just a PS3 fanboy run site. All fanboys suck, but one group of fanboys rule this site, and it's the PS3 fanboys.
people like Saaking have so many bubbles when all they spew is fanboy trash? Is that the trick? Be a moronic fanboy and you get to speak more? Or is it strictly second accounts used to bolster their bubble count?
My guess; it's a combination of both. It's pretty sad.
they're still fun I will buy them. The day I buy a Halo game that just isn't fun, is the day the franchise is done. And it would take quite a bit to convince me to get another. (or they start making Halo Kart or something like that)
for using wikipedia as a source. lol. I don't think I need to say more.
a link? I'd like to see it. I couldn't find on Bungie. Is it on GAF?
It's a huge war over the planet with quite a few side stories to explore. If Bungie does what they always do, this game has no choice but to be huge. It's Bungie last (as far as we know) foray into Halo. They'll go out with a bang.
And then we can look forward to that new IP they're working on.
update those things. The gameplay is different from being a Spartan and they talked in their PAX panel about the engine tweaks and upgrades they made. As far as graphics, it looks better than Halo 3 from what I've seen. Their artist got a lot more out of the engine this time.
Another reason why this seems either fake or some nobody reviewer is because they seem to not have their facts straight.
I would love to see MS adopt Blu-ray. I mean Bungie fit all of the stuff they did into Halo 3 on a little DVD-9 disc. Imagine what they could've done with 25-50GB of space.
a great watch. I love extended interviews with Bungie. (a panel in this case] They really are a funny group of guys. Oh and they make great games too. I recommend watching this if you're even a casual Halo fan. It lets you see what the devs are like. I know the guys over at Bungie were one of the reasons I stuck around that community.
"It's not going to watch itself" haha Joe Staten is hilarious.
Bungie has it's roots on the Mac platform. It's where they started. Someone asks why they're using Macs, the give their answer there in one of the last videos.
Anyone who followed them and their petition made themselves look like "the dumbest idiots in captivity". B1tching about a sequel. I'll never understand most gamers these days.
at those of you calling them sell outs. The petition was garbage to begin with. A bunch of whiny little kids and adults looking for something to complain about. Valve obviously listens and cares but there will always be the morons who think they have a "cause".
People these days and their overinflated sense of entitlement.
one nameless "reviewer" doesn't mean a whole lot. Especially since all he complained about was the engine being the same. Just sounds like a site trying to get hits. The whole "play it safe" sounds made up too. I don't trust this article at all.
And not because he didn't like the game. It just doesn't seem like the real deal. I wouldn't be surprised if this nameless reviewer was from a site that very little people have heard of, if he was real at all.
terrible. That doesn't mean Natal doesn't have potential though. It clearly has more potential than any of the other motion control technology the other companies have.
I'm skeptical because motion control just seems like a terrible idea. The Wii is alright but it has detection issues that would break real gameplay. It works for gimmicks though. I just want to really see what it can do. No more gimmicks. Really show us what Natal can do and then I'll buy into it.
those who don't know how to deal with differing opinions ignore others comments. It doesn't surprise me though. Anyone who trolls the article of a game they don't like, on a console they don't like, obviously has maturity problems.
He does the Grunt voices and the Superintendent. Very funny guy and a good writer. I enjoyed Contact Harvest.
says that ODST has a good story and generally speaks well of the game.
Microsoft must have paid them off.
